80 1:1 Coaching Sessions.
1 Big Learning.

Before Christmas, I spent four weeks coaching on three different programs, meeting with over 80 entrepreneurs – to help them prepare their pitch.

And I want to share the biggest lesson I learned from reviewing more than 80 pitches.

Almost everyone had a strong structure. But almost everyone was missing one thing.

The Human Touch.

In this video I share why the Human Touch matters, and how to inject it into your story.

Your pitch will make so much more impact with a more human angle to it. You’ll connect with investors, customers and colleagues in a different way.

And that’s going to increase the chances that you get the resources you need, to make your plans reality.

The video explains how – enjoy! πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

What I’m working on right now – update

πŸ“˜ New Book! ‘Long Story Short’
I’ve started the book research, talking with senior execs from companies like PwC, Canon, CapGemini, and Engie. These are people who get pitched to all the time!

I’ve had re-confirmation of how important it is to be able to sum up your story in no time at all – so they get hooked, and want more info.

Value first: Process later.

I’ve also been surprised at how much Enthusiasm and Conviction matter. It’s always seemed to me that competence and content are king.

Yet everyone I have interviewed so far has emphasised that the Human Touch can change your chances of success (hence this video…)

When you don’t have time to tell every detail, showing your commitment to the proposal truly counts. It can be the thing that pushes the people you are trying to convince – over the line.

This research is all focused towards writing a short, sharp paperback, very simply targeted at helping you Convince Busy People.

I’ll update on progress next time!

I hope 2026 has started well for you: good luck with your next pitch!
